Imani McCullough, known professionally as N’shai Iman, is an American R&B singer-songwriter from Detroit, Michigan.Born on February 8, 2000, she grew up in a musically inclined family, which fostered her passion for music. In her early teens, she began writing songs, using lo-fi beats to craft her unique sound. In 2019, under the moniker I M a N I, she released her debut single, “Do Not Disturb.” Her 2021 EP, “Transition,” showcases her distinctive blend of R&B and pop influences, drawing inspiration from artists like H.E.R., Ari Lennox, and Amy Winehouse.
