With all the backlash for female-lead superhero movies these days, it’s interesting to see Sony releasing yet another mostly fem-hero movie.. this time set in the Spider-verse. Madam Web is an obscure character that has been brought back to life by the immensely popular Spider-verse storylines in the comics. Is she popular enough to have her own movie? Time will tell.
