There are been very few times when the expectations of an upcoming game are realized when it’s releases. And interestingly enough, a number of those games game from Bethesda. It happened with the releases of Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 4… and then again with Skyrim. And it’s not hard to believe that Starfield falls into that category, since it’s basically an Amalgamation of all those games and set in space.
And sure, I haven’t played a lot of games this year that others are calling the game of the year (read: Buldar’s Gate III)… and there’s still a few months a left for competition. But Starfield is so damn good (even with it’s faults.. which a lot of them are carried over from previous Bethesda games) that I KNOW I’ll be playing it well into 2024… possibly beyond with all the rumored upgrades and expansions Bethesda is teasing.
