Eimi Gloria Matsudo, known professionally as Giulia, is a distinguished Italian-Japanese professional wrestler currently signed with WWE’s NXT brand, where she holds the NXT Women’s Championship. Born on February 21, 1994, in London, England, to an Italian father and a Japanese mother, Giulia moved to Japan at the age of one and was raised in Chiba Prefecture. Before embarking on her wrestling career, she worked in her family’s Italian restaurant.

Giulia’s wrestling journey began in 2017 with the Ice Ribbon promotion, where she debuted on October 29. During her tenure, she formed the tag team “Burning Raw” with Tequila Saya, capturing the International Ribbon Tag Team Championship. In October 2019, she made a high-profile transition to World Wonder Ring Stardom, quickly establishing herself as a formidable competitor. She founded the faction Donna Del Mondo and achieved significant success, including winning the Wonder of Stardom Championship and the prestigious 5★Star Grand Prix in 2022. Her in-ring prowess and leadership earned her the Tokyo Sports Women’s Wrestling Grand Prize in 2020.

Expanding her horizons, Giulia participated in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) events, notably securing the Strong Women’s Championship in July 2023 by defeating Willow Nightingale. Her dynamic performances garnered international attention, leading to her signing with WWE in 2024. She debuted on the NXT brand, and on January 7, 2025, at NXT: New Year’s Evil, Giulia captured the NXT Women’s Championship by defeating Roxanne Perez. Beyond the ring, she has shared her experiences and journey in her autobiography, “My Dream,” published in August 2024.
