Milla Jovovich is an American actress, model, and musician, renowned for her roles in science fiction and action films.Born Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich on December 17, 1975, in Kiev, Ukraine, she moved to the United States with her family at the age of five, settling in Los Angeles. Jovovich began her modeling career at 11 and transitioned to acting with her film debut in 1988’s “Two Moon Junction.” She gained prominence with her lead role as Leeloo in Luc Besson’s 1997 sci-fi film “The Fifth Element,” and further solidified her status as an action star portraying Alice in the “Resident Evil” film series from 2002 to 2016. Beyond acting, Jovovich released her debut album, “The Divine Comedy,” in 1994, and co-founded the fashion line Jovovich-Hawk in 2003. She married director Paul W. S. Anderson in 2009, with whom she has three daughters.
