Swerve Strickland has been on my wrestling radar since he first appeared on NXT. Unfortunately, they didn’t know what to do with him so his career had a lot of starts and stops. Eventually, WWE let him go and he showed up in AEW, where (even though it took a little time) he got his chance to shine. He was slowly making waves until he started using the remix to a rap song he previously recorded called “Big Pressure”. Add his manager Prince Nana’s iconic dance during the entrance, and all eyes fell on Swerve. He’s making the most of the attention, tonight higher Somoa Joe for the AEW World Championship.
