In an age of light, a darkness rises.
I can't say enough how much I love this show. What started as a bastardized step-sister of the MCU, became its own thing starting in the second season and never looked back. It's a shame that the viewing audience abandoned the show by the middle of the first season and didn't hang around long enough to see the incredible wild ride it started in the middle of season 2.
One of my favorite things is watching folks on YouTube discover the show and watch their reactions as they progress through the show and the show and awe as the show amps…
Mercedes Varnado (aka Sasha Banks/Mercedes Moné) has been one of my favorite professional wrestlers ever since she introduced herself as "The Boss" back in NXT. It killed me when she abruptly left WWE after feeling dispected and just seemed to exist in limbo. She did a few dates in the Indies and then wound up in New Japan for a while, but everyone was waiting for her to return to the WWE. But all that ended tonight, because Sasha Banks (now Mercedes Moné) arrived in AEW and is now officially "All Elite". It's interesting that even though I don't really…

Like everyone else I'm still suffering from The Walking Dead fatigue. I think the main show's unamusing ending, coupled with the underwhelming TWD: The World Beyond and whimper of the last episodes of Fear The Walking Dead, and they close to horrible anthology series Tales of The Walking Dead, the franchise seemed to be dying a slow death. But there are some glimmers of goodness. The Maggie/Negan driven Death City along with the Darryl Dixon spinoff shows there still some life in the 4 year old franchise.
Now AMC is dropping the first first trailer for the upcoming The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live and…

Television Show of The Year:
The Last of Us
Let's be honest. NOTHING came close this year to this video game adaptation of the Naughty Dog phenomenon. Granted, the track record for video game movies and TV shows hasn't been the best (read: Halo, Monster Hunter, Alone in the Dark, etc.). But this time around, HBO did it right. They gave the reigns of the project to Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and shadowed him with Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann to keep the integrity of the game's story intact.
What we got was a tight 9 episode ride that was more a character study, than…
