Like everyone else I'm still suffering from The Walking Dead fatigue. I think the main show's unamusing ending, coupled with the underwhelming TWD: The World Beyond and whimper of the last episodes of Fear The Walking Dead, and they close to horrible anthology series Tales of The Walking Dead, the franchise seemed to be dying a slow death. But there are some glimmers of goodness. The Maggie/Negan driven Death City along with the Darryl Dixon spinoff shows there still some life in the 4 year old franchise.

Let's be honest. NOTHING came close this year to this video game adaptation of the Naughty Dog phenomenon. Granted, the track record for video game movies and TV shows hasn't been the best (read: Halo, Monster Hunter, Alone in the Dark, etc.). But this time around, HBO did it right.
