I love the fact that tucked away within all the trap-soul and rap-inspired drill-rhythm music that passes for R&B music these days, there are still artists making soul music feels... well... soulful. The new cut by Amber Lucid feels so open and airy which drums that sound like they came from the DJ Premier drumkit and orchestral strings that would make John Williams feel happy.
