As usual Venom War and Absolute Power dominate my list. Giving the new Ghost Rider comic, "Spirits of Vengeane" a try since it's a number 1. And I may not have cared for Cody Ziglar's run on Spider-man: Miles Morales, but I had to grab all the back issues of his current Deadpool run because I. really digged his issue #6. But it's the Avengers week, so it's not double I'm pick it up... because Hyperion is coming!

I'm very proud to be black, but black is not all I am. That's my cultural historical background, my genetic makeup, but it's not all of who I am nor is it the basis from which I answer every question.

A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares, when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades.
A lot of Marvel comics this week. Venom War and Absolute Power are still the big events of the moment. But for my pick of the week, I had to go to the Ultimate Universe...
Comic Book of The Week:
Ultimate Black Panther #8
Camp / Noto
To be honest, even though I love the character of The Black Panther, and I loved the movies, I've never really been able to get into the whole vibe of the comic. Even when Ta-Nehisi Coates was writing his epic run, it just didn't grab me. But there's just SOMETHING about Bryan Hill's reimagining of…

Kendrick Lamar's compelling lyricism, virtuosic microphone command, and sharp conceptual vision have translated to a rare combination of continuous chart feats and critical acclaim, plus respect and support from the artists who paved the way for the rapper's advancement. The Compton MC started as a teen in the early 2000s and hit his creative and commercial stride the next decade. The proper albums Lamar released by the end of the 2010s, namely the breakthrough good kid, m.A.A.d city (2012), Grammy-winning To Pimp a Butterfly (2015), and Grammy- and Pulitzer Prize-winning DAMN. (2017), displayed an unmatched mix of inventive wordplay and…
I'm so lucky to have been raised the way I have, because my parents believed that everyone had the right to their own feelings, opinions, and existence; as long as they weren't harming others, you had to defend those rights.

His extensive discography, dating back to the early 1990s, includes tracks by the likes of Dilated Peoples, Mobb Deep, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar, and he's so valued as a collaborator that he has been behind joint albums co-billed with the likes of Prodigy (Return of the Mac, 2007), Oh No (including Gutter Water, the duo's first album as Gangrene, 2010), Curren$y (Covert Coup, 2011 and again in 2022 with critical favorite Continuance), Freddie…
The word is this reboot of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot" is suppose to drop sometime next month, yet... i haven't heard ONE WORD about it. That fills me with a little concern, since a project like this should be on everyone's radar. Some unconfirmed words are that it's so bad, it might be unsalvagable. But there have been too many time where 'experts' say something about an upcoming movie they haven't seen and it's total false. So, I'm just gonna keep anticipating this movie, while keeping my expectations low. The story is complete fire, so I'm hoping that director Gary…
