As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
One of the cool things I've been overlooking for a while is Spotify's year-end data of my listening trends. It's incredible to see/hear the rollercoaster ride I've gone on in 2023. Below is a nice video put together to showcase the whole thing.

If This Is Love
There's something about Naomi Sharon that gives me Sade vibes of love and peace. This is one of those rare albums I put on let it play on repeat while I get around during the day. Simply excellent production and Naomi's voice is the real instrument in these arrangements. Putting this on my top albums of 2023.

Comic of The Week:
The Invicible Iron Man #12
Since it's Thanksgiving week, comics were a little scarce. But I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying this current run of The Invincible Iron Man. Cleverly inserting Tony Stark smack dab in the middle of the X-Men's Fall of X storyline, and pairing him with the unlikely partner (and now wife) Emma Frost has been an enjoyment of snarkiness and quips. I was a little apprehensive when I first heard Gerry Duggen would be penning this volume of Iron Man. But he's done an excellent job, and it's got me going…
Small Hours
"My first love was saxophone. I fell in love with jazz in high school and decided to study music in college. There I discovered neo soul for the first time and felt “this is the music I’ve been looking for.” That has led me into a path of singing, songwriting, and producing, and is how my band came to form. Max Bryk, Andris Mattson, and I formed Moonchild in 2012. We bonded over our mutual love of jazz, neo soul, and production. Over the last nine years we’ve released 4 albums (the 5th will be out this year), been able…
