I had very little time to read this week. So I just posted my expected favorite as the X-Men head into the next phase of the Fall of X. Here are my picks.
Comic Book of The Week:
Fall of The House of X

Ray Lozano is a German-Filipino singer, songwriter and producer born and raised in Cologne.
Ray and her co-producer Samon Kawamura create a landmark in German-Asian culture. Their sound is following in the footsteps of the art and soul of Solange's 'When I Get Home' plus some quirkiness à la Tierra Whack - but always undoubtedly Ray Lozano. Her music offers a sense of home - direct, soothing, and playful.

Here we are in the last week of 2023. And as usual, there's not much to look forward to this week. The one standout is the annual "Timeless" comic from Marvel that gives us a glimpse into the future of Marvel Comics for 2024.
Comic Book of The Week:
Timeless 2023 #1
This year's issue focuses on Luke Cage vs. Moon Knight with some glimpses into other future. Written by Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly, art by Juann Cabal. I hope this is the direction for both of these characters because they both look pretty cool.
All in all, this year's crop of…
The week leading up to Christmas was as slow as expected. As usual, The "Gang War" and "FAll of X" storylines are dominated by pull lists. Hickman's "G.O.D.S." book dropped another issue and a few more Spider comics. And while all of these books were ok, I must admit that my best read from this list has to be the collected 4 volumes of Brian Michael Bendis' "Powers".
Comic Book of The Week:
Powers Collection Vol. 1–4
I first read Powers when I got through the first volume of Bendis' run on Marvel's New Avengers. After going back and reading his Daredevil, and…

On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.
