This was a good week for the pull list. Batman's "Dark Prisons" storylines have been pretty enjoyable. We got a new Deadpool #1 from Cody Ziglar. I picked up some cool indie issues (the latest issue of Killadelphia, Void Rivals, and the new witch-themed Under York). And even though the X-Men are finally taking their war to Orchis in the latest issue, the real scorcher in "Fall of The House of X" is coming from the comic of the week...

I have really enjoyed Jed MacKay's run on Avengers…
Sky's The Limit (Remix)
Been following Sasha (now Mercedes Moné) since she started in NXT. You could always see the potential in her, and it wasn't until she turned heel that we got to see the "Boss" persona emerge that took her to the top of the WWE's Women's Division. As of now, she's signed with AEW and hasn't really done anything. AEW has a track record of ruining debuts, so I'm hoping that once she starts hitting the mat, everyone will remember how good she is. And even though her new persona is "The CEO", I don't think anything will beat her at…

Neo-soul, hip-hop fusionist, Samara Cyn, is an emerging artist in Los Angeles, California with a sound that stands out from the crowd. With new, modern soul and nostalgic hip-hop undertones, her southern twang cuts through the record with hints of west-coast influence and lingo. Cyn’s singing and rap combo is a breath of fresh air in a modern era that calls back to the Erykah’s and Lauryn’s. In her bio, she “makes music for ya auntie.” Her concepts are rooted in internal conflicts with self, society, and peace. While her message and raspy voice are different from the current trends,…

What can you say about The Rock's run in WWE that hasn't been already said? But my favorite era was 2003 after his heel turn defeated Hulk Hogan at 'No Way Out'. Everyone tuned in to witness the aftermath and we were treated to a whole new persona for The Rock, complete with a remixed entrance song and a 'Hollywood' style Titantron.

Who doesn't love the New World Order porno music? It's iconic. There's a 'fake' version that was in one of the video games. I forgot which one, but I liked that one better. It was a little more funky, but this theme here had everyone else chasing that 'cool' factor in their entrance.
For years, she's been one of the best technical wrestlers on the independents. But her star didn't rise until she took a floundering run in All-Elite Wrestling and transformed into The "Timeless" Toni Storm.. boasting a faux British accent, and taking on the persona of Hollywood starlet, Toni has become one of the best wrestling attractions in any wrestling organization. Peep the transformation in the video below.
The extraordinary Japanese folklore of "Yokai" and "Otaku" gives rise to a strange relationship of love and mystery.
I love movies about reality-bending scientific mysteries. Just having a story where the stakes are so large, it engulfs who we are and what we do is amazing. Think Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End", "Contact", or "The Signal". Interestingly enough, I had never heard of "3 Body Problem" until I saw the Netflix trailer. After researching the story I was amazed how Liu Cixin's world-ending story had escaped me. I plan to watch the series and then read Cixin's book trilogy. I'm sure more content will be spread across those pages than in the 8-episode streaming series.
