When i first heard the pitch for No Man’s Sky, I felt like it was the game i’d been waitng for all my life. But when it came out, the reviews were less than kind. A lot of the promised gameplay was absent or broken so i refrained from getting it. In the meantime, Bethesda releases ‘Starfield’, and if you know me, you’d know that it’s been my top game for the last two years. Even with the bad reviews, it satifsfied my itch for shipbuilding, base-building and a lot of customization for traveling the cosmos. But after 2 years, and very little updates for Starfield, I’ve been looking for something else to satisfy that itch. Looking back at No Man’s Sky, it seems like all the improvements they’ve made are good enough to me to drop $60 on it. I’m hoping this becomes a good Starfield replacement until Bethesda adds more content.
