Edit a Whole Video by Describing the Cut

Use one clean talking-head take, then let the AI add restrained camera movement, support graphics, and text placement from a written brief.

Use This For
01
Restyling a simple talking-head clip without hand-editing a timeline.
02
Testing several camera and graphic treatments cheaply before upscaling.
03
Keeping a creator's face, audio, and performance intact while polishing the visual language.
04
Learning to brief a video like a director instead of editing like a technician.
Workflow

The Click Path

  1. Shoot a locked-off take. Use a tripod, steady light, and clean audio. The less chaos in the source clip, the more control the model has when it invents motion.
  2. Create a video project in Arcads. Start a new project, choose video, and select the Omni-style model that supports camera moves and graphics.
  3. Draft small. Generate low-resolution drafts first. Treat the first few outputs as sketches, not deliverables.
  4. Generate options. Ask for three versions with the same prompt so you can choose the most natural motion.
  5. Upscale only the keeper. Spend the high-resolution credits after you have watched the draft closely.
Reusable Editing Brief
Use this locked-off talking-head clip as the source. Keep the speaker's timing, voice, face, body, and audio unchanged.

Add gentle camera movement that feels physically possible: a slow push, a small pull-back, or a controlled orbit. Keep the face readable and centered.

Add clean supporting graphics only when they clarify what is being said. Keep all text large enough for a phone and leave the lower third open for captions.

Keep the grade natural. Do not change the room, smooth the face, replace clothing, or restyle the person.

Cut or change angle only at natural pauses. Never cut across a word.
Fixes

Lines to Add When It Goes Wrong

Movement Feels Too Wild

Ask for every camera move to slow by half and describe the camera as a person gently operating a tripod head.

Face Keeps Changing

Lock the face as a reference and tell the model to choose smaller motion instead of inventing new facial detail.

Text Covers Captions

Reserve the lower third. Put graphics in the top two-thirds and clear them before the next spoken point.

Graphics Feel Generic

Make each graphic illustrate a specific noun, number, or idea from the script.

Reality check: AI polish does not rescue a weak take. A clear script, good light, and clean sound still set the ceiling.
