Build a Jarvis That Briefs You Every Morning
A daily briefing system that pulls only what matters, speaks in a consistent format, and stays honest about what it can access.
- Build the dashboard first, even if the data is mocked. Decide what belongs on screen.
- Tell Claude who you are, what you care about, and what a useful morning brief includes.
- Authorize connectors one at a time: calendar, email, tasks, analytics, revenue, or social.
- Make the dashboard live by replacing placeholders with read-only data pulls.
- Run manually for a week, then schedule it only after the output is consistently useful.
Morning Brief Prompt
Create my morning brief.
Use only connected sources you can access. Do not invent missing data.
Sections:
1. Today's calendar and hard commitments.
2. Emails or messages that need a reply.
3. Tasks that are blocked or urgent.
4. Metrics that changed meaningfully.
5. One recommendation for what to do first.
Keep it short, specific, and action-oriented. Flag anything you could not check.Keep control: a morning brief should read and draft. It should not send, spend, cancel, or publish without you approving the final action.
