DC and Warner Brothers may be faltering on their Cinematic Universe, but their TV universe is killing it. Full disclosure, I’m a huge Marvel head. And I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love the Marvel TV and streaming shows also. But if I there’s a prototype for what comic book shows should be, it’d have to say The CW has it locked. Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow have found away to perfect the ‘fun’ factor that’s missing from the Marvel TV shows. Sure they’re campy… even corny at times. But that’s what comic books are suppose to be. The latest mega crossover, Crisis on Earth-X witch crosses through all four shows over two nights, is everything you’d expect in a comic book event. And these shows handle it with the same ‘over the top’ action as if it were in a 9-grid panel. Kudos, DC and CW.
