Neflix Brings Us Another Graphic Novel Adaptation: Polar

The world’s top assassin, Duncan Vizla, aka The Black Kaiser (Mads Mikkelsen), is settling into retirement when his former employer marks him as a liability to the firm. Against his will, he finds himself back in the game going head to head with an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced.

The Youtube Original “Origin” Tries to Recreate “Lost” In Space

The Youtube Original “Origin” Tries to Recreate “Lost” In Space

There’s very little original content from Youtube’s Originals brand that I’ve wanted to watch. But the 5 episode Origin might be the real deal. It’s basically the same premise at Lost, but instead of an island, your heroes awaken aboard a space station headed for a new planet to colonize.

The Next Black Mirror Event: Bandersnatch

I don’t know what the hell this is, but the folks at Black Mirror always bring the crazy awesomeness.

The Next Binge: Berlin Station

The Next Binge: Berlin Station

Transitioning from his job as a CIA analyst in the U.S., cerebral officer Daniel Miller’s new mission puts him under cover at the agency’s Berlin branch, tasked with sorting out messy cases involving damaging leaks, whistle-blowers, terrorism and more. Mentored by jaded veteran officer Hector DeJean, Daniel learns the disorderly world of field work means dealing with deception, danger and moral compromises. As he dives deeper into the German capital’s hall of mirrors and discovers conspiracies that lead back to Washington, D.C., he wonders if anyone can ever be the same after a posting to Berlin.

Trying Out The New Virtual PC Gaming Service: Shadow

Trying Out The New Virtual PC Gaming Service: Shadow

I have a set amount of money I can use for subscriptions. And I put a few of those $15/month services on hold so that I can check out Shadow, a credible virtual gaming platform. I’m sonic it solely to play WWE 2K19 from anywhere. Normally $50/month, I’m taking advantage of the Christmax deal and doing a month for $26.

Of All The WWE’s Properties, This Has Been The Year of NXT

Of All The WWE’s Properties, This Has Been The Year of NXT

To be honest, I haven’t watched WWE programming consistently in years. Raw and Smackdown has focused more on storyline drama and not the simulated sport. But their developmental show, NXT has been getting better and better each year. Luckily I don’t have to pay for the WWE Network to see the show since Hulu streams the show a day after it airs. Classic matches every single week, Pay Per Views that consistently outshines the other WWE specials and an aggressive workload that ‘feels’ like a sports show.. something the other WWE shows has forgotten to do.

Rejoice!! The SyFy Channel and The Russo Brothers Release The Pilot Episode of Deadly Class on Youtube for Free!!

This piece of comic book awesomeness was schedule to debut on the SyFy Channel on January 16th. But looks like they really want us to go all-in on this adaptation of Rick Remender’s boarding school for assassins graphic novel. This is a Russo Brothers creation so lets hope it’s a special holiday present for us.

Netflix’s Bird Box Feels Like M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening. But If It Was Done The Right Way

This movie came out of nowhere! Netflix seems to be pushing new content on a daily basis. So much that Bird Box totally flew under my radar. It has star power, a good script and a great premise, similar to The Happening. Some unknown force is causing people to kill themselves, but I’m sure it won’t be plants this time around.

After A Disappointing First Season, Star Trek Discovery Brings in Classic Trek Characters and Amps Up The Cinematic Splendor for Season 2

I don’t know if it was fan expectations or all the rumors of production problems, but it seems like Star Trek Discovery didn’t do so well in its first season. Personally, I enjoyed the first season a lot. True, it wasn’t classic Trek and the whole prime timeline seemed a little off, but story-wise it was pretty good. I was waiting for them to pull the trigger on Section 31. It looks like we’ll get this in the upcoming season.

Amidst Serious Problems, Star Trek Discovery Gets Ready for Season 2

Amidst Serious Problems, Star Trek Discovery Gets Ready for Season 2

There seems to be a lot of problems with the second season of Star Trek: Discovery. A lot of backstage turmoil,  fired show runners and coarse corrections situated with the show. The inclusion of the Starship Enterprise has been moved up the timeline in order to boost the ratings for the fledgling show. I’m still gonna watch it.

Travelers Preps For The 3rd and Final Season, Thanx To Netflix

Travelers Preps For The 3rd and Final Season, Thanx To Netflix

I love time travel shows. Travelers is one of those Canadian imports that’s flown under the radar, but an excellent genre series. A group of warriors come back in time by inhabiting the bodies of present day people just before they’re suppose to die, and work in secret to try and change their apocalyptic future. After a shaky second season I’m hoping they wrap it all up in epic fashion.

Could Shadow Be The Future of Gaming

Could Shadow Be The Future of Gaming

Cloud gaming has been an unrealized for a decade. And even though this Show cloud gaming service seems too good to be true, a lot of the real world reviews suggest this is the real deal. $35 gets you a fully functional Windows gaming PC in the cloud. You get full Windows 10 so you can download steam and play games on your desktop/laptop (Windows AND Mac), and your mobile tablet and phone. The subscription price seems pretty steep, but I’m really considering trying this out!
