I have a set amount of money I can use for subscriptions. And I put a few of those $15/month services on hold so that I can check out Shadow, a credible virtual gaming platform. I’m sonic it solely to play WWE 2K19 from anywhere. Normally $50/month, I’m taking advantage of the Christmax deal and doing a month for $26.
Every few years, I have to rewatch Farscape. In my opinion, a groundbreaking sci fi series that broke a lot of rules and pushed the genre to be more innovative and epic. When a pop culture nerd turned astronaut gets thrown to the other side of the galaxy, he gets to use everything he knows from popular movies and tv shows to become a real hero/outlaw amongst a strange new world.
When Earth falls under attack from invincible aliens, no military unit in the world is able to beat them. Maj. William Cage, an officer who has never seen combat, is assigned to a suicide mission. Killed within moments, Cage finds himself thrown into a time loop, in which he relives the same brutal fight — and his death — over and over again. However, Cage’s fighting skills improve with each encore, bringing him and a comrade ever closer to defeating the aliens.
For those of us who lived this, it was an awesome new world to explore. Netcape, Pixelon, Mozilla.. these names may not mean anything to you, but they were the sacrificial technologies that gave us what we take for granted today. I can’t wait to watch this!!
At first, it started out rooted in reality, a show that wanted to tell a pre-Batman story, focusing on the development of James Gordon. But in the seasons that followed, they managed to amp up. the wackiness and even surpass the comic book-e-ness found in the Arrowverse. Last season, we saw the all-out spread of the supernatural and superpowers, the rise (after an initial fakeourt) of The Joker and Bruce Wayne put on the path toward the Dark Knight, With this being their final season, they are promising to let it all loose…. knock on wood…
To be honest, I haven’t watched WWE programming consistently in years. Raw and Smackdown has focused more on storyline drama and not the simulated sport. But their developmental show, NXT has been getting better and better each year. Luckily I don’t have to pay for the WWE Network to see the show since Hulu streams the show a day after it airs. Classic matches every single week, Pay Per Views that consistently outshines the other WWE specials and an aggressive workload that ‘feels’ like a sports show.. something the other WWE shows has forgotten to do.
This piece of comic book awesomeness was schedule to debut on the SyFy Channel on January 16th. But looks like they really want us to go all-in on this adaptation of Rick Remender’s boarding school for assassins graphic novel. This is a Russo Brothers creation so lets hope it’s a special holiday present for us.
