When it first started, the SyFy drama Killjoys felt like another peripheral syndicated show that filled the time in-between the shows you really wanted to watch. Don’t get me wrong, it was good. But it felt like it was still figuring out what it wanted to be. It was trying way too hard to the cool, hip and sexy. With the ridiculously sexy Hannah John-Kamen (The Tunnel, Ant-man and The Wasp) in the title role, alongside genre favorite Aaron Ashmore (Smallville, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13), it had all the pieces in place. Fortunately, it really hit it’s stride by season 3 with some excellent world-building and an over-arching story arc to give some weight to our heroes. Now in it’s 4th season, Killjoys has become the show it was trying to be.. a major player in the sci-fi tv landscape.
Every Saturday, me and wifey go out and have a good breakfast and then come hone to watch an awesome cheesy movie. this week is The Dawnseeker. Words can’t describe it. Watch the trailer.
